FAQ'S

Q:  What kind of services do you provide?
A:  We provide non-medical services such as homemaking, companionship, and help with the day-to-day living needs.  Please see Services page for detailed listing.

Q:  How do we get started?
A:  We will meet with the client and any family members to assess your needs and develop a specialized plan based on those needs.  There is no charge for this meeting.  After a schedule is determined, service can be started within 24 hours.

Q:  Is there a deposit required?
A:  Yes. A week deposit.

Q: Do you accept health insurance?
A: Unfortunately health insurance plans do not cover home care services.  Some long-term care insurance plans include coverage for home care.

Q: How can services be paid for?
A: We accept cash or check.  Services are billed on a weekly basis.

Q:  Can I change my schedule?
A:  Yes, we can adjust your schedule as your needs change.  We just need a 24-hour notice.

Q: What is the minimum amount of services your company provides?
A: We can take on assignments for as little as 3 hours a day, 3 days a week.

Q:  How are Caregivers selected?
A:  All Caregivers are interviewed personally by the company’s owners.  They are checked for criminal records through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and a driving record check is also done. The company is State licensed, bonded and insured.

Q:  Will I have the same Caregiver?
A:  Once you are satisfied with the Caregiver who will be helping you, Best Care 4 You will do everything possible to ensure that the same Caregiver will be assigned to you. 

Q:  Who do I contact if I have concerns or a question?
A: One of the owners is available around the clock to address any concerns or questions.

Q:  Whose car will we take on appointments or errands?
A:  It is up to the client.  If the client disapproves of personal vehicle use, the Caregiver vehicle will be used.

Q:  Are services limited to seniors?
A:  Services are not limited to seniors.  We help people in many situations as they recover from illnesses or surgery.

Q:  Can you provide services in retirement centers or assisted living facilities?
A:  Yes, we can provide services in retirement centers, rehab facilities, assisted living facilities as well as your home.

Q:  Do you cover holidays?
A:  Yes.  Holidays are billed at time and one half.
